Donna McInnis
President

Donna has been involved with DNB for over ten years. She currently serves as DNB President, and is an active dressage coach, judge and competitor.


Renee Gaudet

Vice President

Renee became involved in dressage in 2009 when her daughter started showing at the Princess Louise Park. She has been a DNB board member since 2013, and currently serves as Vice President. When not trailering to horse shows all over Canada and the U.S., she loves grooming and doing barn chores.


Nancy McAlinden

Secretary

Nancy McAlinden has been involved with dressage as a rider, competitor, trainer, instructor, coach, judge, and organizer for decades. Founder of the first dressage association in New Brunswick in 1988, she’s served as secretary for DNB for 7 years.


Debbie Zinck

Debbie Zinck
Treasurer

Debbie began riding at age 15 and competed in western pleasure, barrel racing, and pole bending. Due to enrolling in nursing school, she stopped riding for many years, but got back into horses 10 years ago with her daughter, and became a dressage “show mom”. Shortly after, Debbie became involved with DNB and has served as treasurer, scorer, etc. ever since. After purchasing a new horse in the past year, she hopes to compete in a dressage competition in the 2017 season.


Melissa McKnight

Melissa McKnight
Memberships

Melissa has been involved with DNB for 3 years and has served in both the NBEA Rep and Sponsorship roles. She has been riding since she was 6 years old, and competed in eventing before switching to dressage in 2006. Melissa is the owner and operator of Blueberry Ridge Stables located in Bloomfield, NB and is also a certified Equine Massage Therapist. As a day job, she works in radio.


Alison Smith

Communications / Special Events Co-Chair

Alison has been the main voice of the Dressage NB website and Facebook page as DNB’s Communications Rep for 2 years. She has been riding since she was knee-high-to-a-grasshopper, and her love of dressage was ignited in 2013. She is working towards having her own hobby farm in the near future, and hopes to continue to train with her young horse in dressage and show in the Maritimes.


Jenn Murray

Jenn Murray
Director at Large / Show Committee Chair

Jenn has been a part of the DNB board for 7 years. She has held many different roles, including communications rep, NBEA rep, director at large, and now sits as show committee chair. She taught herself how to ride from a “Learn to Ride Book” at the age 11 after her parents bought her a pony.  Once she out grew her pony, she continued to ride many different horses until she purchased her gelding, Sirpico at 10 months from Huntington Farms in Vermont in 2013. The pair started showing last summer had had a very successful first season.


June Lewis

June Lewis
Director at Large

June joined DNB as a director at large in October 2016. She is an all-round horse-woman and has been competing at DNB shows for the last 10 years.  Before starting to compete in dressage, she spent several years doing drill team competitions as well as showing her family’s Belgians at county fairs in ladies driving divisions.


Brittany Balser-Whitehouse

Brittany Balser-Whitehouse
Director at Large / Special Events Co-Chair

Brittany joined DNB as a director at large in October 2016. She started riding at the age of 5 and rode competitively in the A circuit hunters until she switched to dressage 3 years ago. Some of her equestrian accomplishments include competing at the Royal Winter Fair in 2002 (large pony hunter division earning a fifth place) and in 2007 (3ft adult amateur division earning two 7th place to finishes). Brittany and her 9 year old thoroughbred/dutch gelding Oh Henry showed successfully in training level with DNB the past two summers. She achieved the highest scoring average last year and plans to show at 1st level this coming show season.
