Dressage New Brunswick Awards – 2010

Participation Award

This certificate recognizes the efforts put forth during the current show season to riders that have competed in dressage. Riders must be current DNB members and have attended a minimum of one New Brunswick gold dressage competition.

To be eligible for the following six awards the riders and horse owners must be current DNB members. Also the horse/rider combinations must have attended a minimum of three New Brunswick gold dressage competitions within the current year.

Stall Plaques

This stall plaque recognizes the achievements during the current year to horse/rider combinations that have achieved the following:

Walk/Trot to First Level – 4 scores of 63% or more from three different Judges
Second to Third Level – 4 Scores of 60% or more from three different Judges
Fourth Level and above – 4 scores of 60% or more from two different Judges

In Province Funding

This $100 award is to be awarded to a maximum of 10 horse/rider combinations. If more that 10 horse/rider combinations qualify for funding a draw for the winners will take place during the DNB annual awards banquet.

Out of Maritime Funding

This $100 award is to be presented to a maximum of 10 horse/rider combinations that have attended a gold competition outside of the Maritimes. If more that 10 horse/rider combinations qualify for funding a draw for the winners will take place during the DNB annual awards banquet.

Junior Sports Person Award

The award is to be presented to a Junior DNB member who has shown outstanding sportsmanship within the current year.

Adult Sports Person Award

The award is to be presented to an Adult DNB member who has shown outstanding sportsmanship within the current year.

Lieutenant Colonel James Kupkee Award

The award is to be awarded to a horse/rider combination that has had an outstanding show season within the current year.

To be eligible for the following award the rider and horse owner must be current DNB members and have attended a minimum of one New Brunswick gold dressage competition.

FEI Recognition Award

To be eligible horse/rider combination must have achieved a score of 55% or higher in an FEI sanctioned competition.

To be eligible for the following awards the person does not have to be a DNB member.

James Mortimer Award

The award is to be presented to someone who has done an outstanding job of volunteering their time to help promote the sport of dressage in NB within the current year.
